Prescribed Burning

Prescribed fire is an accepted, and cost effective land resource management tool. Prescribed fire management increases aesthetic landscapes, benefits many wildlife species and most importantly decreases invasive species and wildfire hazards. Our team provides all levels of the presribed burn process. Our dedicated team works year around planning and permitting projects. Burn plans are developed and projects are executed with the clients needs as a top priority.

Prescribed burning has a limited season in the midwest. The " Burn Season" typically runs from late November to May. This is primarilty so the fuels are dormant and dry. Daily weather is a major factor in executing burns. Safety is #1 , which means burns are performed when winds and humidity are within the scope of the burn plan.

TGF provides leadership and type 6 wildland fire engines nationwide for federal, state and local fire agencies. We also provide services to corporate clients requiring specialized service including mulch fires, landscape waste fires or other outdoor remote firefighting. Our crews have responded to fires in Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Missouri, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and California.

TGF provides brush clearing for fire breaks and invasive control. TGF has all types of equipment to provide efficient service. Our sister company TGF Enterprises can assist with all land clearing and tree removal needs as well as full landscape related services.
